COOPERSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA – Lutron Electronics is suing the Coronavirus, accusing the infections agent of infringing on patent D674,977, which defines a method of transmission of infections material by keypad surface. Lutron claims Coronavirus copied the plaintiffs delivery method by attaching itself to millions of lighting controlled devices. Lutron also claims that Coronavirus is also taking advantage of the companies large portfolio of active patents by “being a dick” and shutting down the entire world economy for its own gain. The company is asking a judge to order the Coronavirus to cease and desist all operations. Lutron has long been an industry leader in lighting control and winning patent infringement cases.
